no, his leaving and the power away-taking are both 2 results of something that was said.
IF I RECALL CORRECTLY, either sybre or sabrina said something about dillion never really helping, so he got kinda emo and said he was leaving, and thus sabrina should remove his powers. she did, but added: "watch him come back, he always does..."
