Introduction

First of all, I would like to congratulate you on finding this thread. This post is designed to assist people who need help with Penguin Trainer. Penguin Trainer is a program that allows a player using the Nexon client to go above the built-in damage cap. The creator also decided that it would be smart to add in Unlimited Flash Jump. I'm not exactly sure how this simple program does all the thing it does but one way to describe it is that it's simply awesome. Shall we begin with the tutorial now?

Damage Cap Tutorial

First, download Penguin Trainer v2.

Next, make sure the client you use to run MapleStory is called MapleStory.exe. By client, I mean the little mushroom you poke with your mouse to get Maplestory to open.

The general order I run my Penguin Trainer is:
1. Open MS.
2. Log-in and get in-game.
3. Open Penguin Trainer. (Vista Users must run as admin!)
4. Tick the little box and be patient after you click on it. If it doesn't tick, make sure the client you are running is called MapleStory.exe.
5. If it ticks, wonderful! You have broken the damage cap that the Nexon client has built in.

Unlimited Flash Jump Tutorial

People have also asked about "UFJ" or Unlimited Flash Jump. I am also here to help solve this problem too. Simply follow these steps.

1. Click on Start.
2. Click on Control Panel.
3. Double Click on Keyboard.
4. Now, you should see 2 bars. Repeat Delay and Repeat rate. I want you to slide BOTH of those bars all the way to the right.
5. Hit Apply and Ok.
6. Start up Maplestory and hit Flash Jump and your Jump keys at the same time and HOLD them together. You should be flying now and have people report you for hacking.

FAQ

Q: Why doesn't the box tick?!?!?
A: Make sure the client is definitely called MapleStory.exe. Go into your Maplestory folder and re-name the target into MapleStory.exe. If it still doesn't work, then I guess you just fail.

Q: Where is Start?
A: Look at the bottom left corner of your screen. See it? Click on it and you're on your way!

Q: Where do I find my MapleStory folder?!?!?
A: Click on Start. (Start can be found in the FAQ above) My Computer > C: > Nexon > MapleStory

Q: How do I find out my Maplestory shortcuts target??
A: Right-Click the shortcut then click on Properties. There should be a target box and the name of the client its currently targeting.

The one true way to break the damage cap and get UFJ is to just download the client iAmmy has provided us with. It also includes a magic damage cap breaker so you can go over that dreaded 1999 magic dmg cap. It can be found here.

Yes, just use the client if Penguin Trainer is not working for you. I personally prefer Penguin Trainer but using the client is fine too.

so if i overwrite the maplesyrup.exe it can still work with the dmg cap breaker?
